Instead, all features of original sheet music are maintained, providing an authentic learning experience that preserves the integrity of the compositions without simplification.

To operate this application, an internet connection and a physical instrument—either acoustic or digital piano, or a synthesizer with piano sounds—are required. The app utilizes your device's microphone to detect the notes played, initiating playback once you begin playing and capable of following your rhythm through listening. Additionally, compatibility is offered with digital pianos via MIDI connection using a USB to MIDI cable and a USB Camera to Firewire adapter, enabling the app to verify note accuracy during performance.

A key advantage of this application over traditional sheet music is its ability to automatically scroll through scores without manual page turns. The sheet advances at a fixed speed or dynamically follows your performance by listening, with upcoming notes displayed in advance—even during jumps in the music. When exploring new pieces, users can listen to a playback to enhance understanding.

The app provides advanced features for focused practice, including selecting specific sections for looping, adjusting tempo—slowing down or speeding up—as well as practicing one hand at a time or combining hands when ready. These capabilities facilitate targeted learning and skill development.

The application can be downloaded freely, allowing users to sample several songs and evaluate its features. By registering with an email address, users receive free credits redeemable for songs in the store. Rest assured, no advertising is sent; the email is solely for account management. Additional songs are available at modest prices for lifetime access, with the entire library accessible at no cost once purchased. Subscription plans are also offered for unrestricted access to all current and future repertoire. With regular practice—two hours daily—the subscription cost can be reduced effectively to approximately 6.6 cents per hour.

The app is optimized for well-tuned digital pianos; optimal results are achieved under these conditions. Nevertheless, users may create custom tuning profiles by instructing the app to learn each note on their instrument if necessary.

The optimal user experience is on an iPad with a large display; however, it remains functional on an iPhone with a different layout adapted for smaller screens.
